About GLAI
The Global Language Assessment Institute (GLAI) designs and administers CEFR-aligned language assessments for professionals, employers, and training partners. Our framework covers English, Italian, French, German, and Spanish.
Each successful candidate receives a certificate with a unique verification code. Third parties can confirm authenticity at any time through the public registry on glai.nl/verify.
Assessment scores map directly to CEFR bands (A1–C2) for overall proficiency and, where recorded, for listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
Assessment model
- Standardised tasks — comparable item banks across sittings and languages.
- Four-skill profile — listening, reading, writing, and speaking reported separately when available.
- Public verification — registry lookup by certificate code, without requiring an account.
